I have received valuable feedback from customers and my affiliates regarding the pricing model I was using on the site. I have decided to change things up here, at least on a trial basis, and implemented a new pricing structure on just the PopLife Themes (I will include the Real Estate Themes soon if this is successful). We are excited to offer this to you and we are hopeful it will save you money too. You simply pay for the products and services you want included with the theme. Let’s take a look.
The old model offered simply one price – $77 for the theme, support and PSD files. The new offer allows you to pick and choose from our various offerings of Support and PSD files with your theme. You can now purchase our themes as low as $27, without PSDs or Support. Prices go up as you include more products and services. Also, each of the PopLife themes has a Special Priced option, that saves you money and gives you the whole enchilada to boot.
One more thing. Unlike other theme sites that claim to be GPL, but charge you for Single, Multiple and Developer Licenses, we offer you Unlimited Usage and No Backlink (or footer link requirements) with any theme you purchase, regardless of price.

AlohaThemes announces the upcoming release of PopLife84.

It’s been a while since our last theme release. I have had lots of client work, so my release schedule has fallen a bit behind. Good news is that things should be changing soon as I have found some great guys to help me out.
The newest theme to soon be released is PopLife84. This is a throwback to the scratch ‘n’ mix days of the early 80’s. The theme has a light grunge feel and a warm color scheme. Check out this snippet for a little taste.

If you are a WP desinger and are interested in SEO, you have surely heard of the All In One SEO plugin. I have personally been using it for years, and it works great. However, there are few things I am not digging in the recent updates. They are:
So, while the plugin still has a great deal of value, there are just some things that I would rather not have my clients deal with. It can cause confusion and I strive my best to avoid that for my clients.
Well, Alec over at FolioVision.com has updated the All In One SEO plugin and created the FV All In One SEO plugin – you can check it out here:

Alec’s update corrects all of the issues I had with the plugin and even has a couple more built in features, such as using excerpts for descriptions and removing the keywords component (since Google admits they don’t care about keyword meta tags any more).
